NHS trust to open new £24 million CAMHS services centre

Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is opening its new £24 million state-of-the-art development for Children and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) and Perinatal Services.

The new centre, Hopewood, will include inpatient CAMHS, comprising of a 12-bed general adolescent ward, 12-bed specialist eating disorder ward and an eight-bed psychiatric intensive care unit (PICU). Community CAMHS, perinatal inpatient services, perinatal community services and an education provision for the CAMHS inpatient service will all be locked on the same campus.

The unit is due to open in March 2018 on Mansfield Road, Nottingham.
