Stoptober campaign encourages e-cigarette use

Despite health leaders ignoring the topic, the annual Stoptober campaign is embracing the use of e-cigarettes as a way to stop people smoking.

The government campaign during October will feature vaping in its TV adverts for the first time, with the popularity of e-cigarettes and vaping growing each year.

According to last year’s campaign, 53 per cent of people used them to quit smoking last year.
