Manchester to control regions NHS budget
The decision is expected to be announced by Chancellor George Osborne this week which will eventually see all NHS funding devolved from Westminster to all regions across the UK.
The Greater Manchester Combined Authority (GMCA) eventually hopes for full devolution of all £22billion of public spending in the city.
