NHS Employers have launched a range of new web pages dedicated to retention within the NHS to help staff face the specific challenges around retention of the workforce.
With nurse leavers outnumbering joiners by 3,000 last year, the new web pages will help employers identify various factors that impact on retention, and access tools and resources to help design and deliver strategies to improve retention.
It is hoped that improving staff retention will lead to better staff engagement and increased productivity, reduce reliance on agency staff, and ultimately help the NHS deliver the best possible patient care.
