NHS Grampian to raise £27 million selling disused buildings
NHS Grampian, a North-east health authority, is set to raise £27 million by disposing of its assets in the next few years, the Scottish government says.
A new report published by the Scottish government has highlighted the state of NHS Scotland’s assets and facilities.
It says NHS Grampian is set to make the money by selling its empty buildings over the next five or more years. These buildings have been replaced by new facilities, health chiefs said.
NHS Lothian, another NHS board in Scotland, is anticipated to do the same and rake in £72 million.
