Surrey GP calls for drugs company fine to go to NHS
Dr Martin Brunet has launched a petition campaigning for the £90 million fine handed to Pfizer and Flynn Pharma to be put back into the NHS.
Drugs companies Pfizer and Flynn Pharma were fined £90 million by the Competition and Markets Authority in December for hiking the price of an epilepsy drug.
Talking to ITV News, Dr Martin Brunet of Binscombe Medical Centre said that he believes that the money should be redirected back to the NHS to directly help patients - instead of going to the Treasury as planned.
