Kings College NHS Foundation Trust is carrying out regular deep cleans of all wards to stop the spread of Norovirus.
On 11 October, the trust closed a small number of affected wards at the Princess Royal University Hospital (PRUH) after discovering a small number of inpatients with Norovirus.
Although symptoms usually last for between 24 and 48 hours, and most people recover very quickly, the trust is continuing to take extra precautions to prevent the virus from spreading to other patients, including encouraging staff and visitors to be extra vigilant around hand washing and other infection control procedures.
