South Warwickshire NHS Foundation Trust (SWFT) has awarded a new £45 million contract to ISS Mediclean to provide soft services.
Agreed over an initial five-year period, the contract will see ISS provide patient catering and retail, cleaning, linen, logistics and security services across four sites, including the impressive new Stratford Hospital.
Glen Burley, chief executive of SWFT, said: “It is great to be welcoming back ISS as the Trust’s hotel services provider. Hotel services are an integral part of keeping our sites operational and support the provision of care to our patients. I look forward to working with them to deliver exceptional services.”
Chris Ash, managing director of ISS Healthcare, added: “We are absolutely delighted to be asked to return to South Warwickshire. Ever since we left we have maintained a close interest in the development of the Trust which is now paying dividends as I believe that we have an excellent understanding of our critical support role in the provision of first class healthcare services to the local community.”
