The newly formed Cavendish Coalition, a coalition of 29 health and social care organisations, will act as a shared voice and lobby on post-EU referendum matters.
Providing those leading the negotiations with the expertise and knowledge required on issues affecting the health and social care workforce, the coalition is united in its belief that EU citizens working in UK’s health and social care sectors should remain.
The taskforce will promote employment policy and practice which ensures that the UK continues to be able to attract vital skills from Europe and around the world to work in health and social care.
Organisations within the group include: the British Medical Association; Mental Health Network; NHS Confederation; NHS Employers; Royal College of Nursing; and the National Association of Primary Care.
