NHS Employers says that the sessions will help managers identify team members who may be struggling with their mental health and learn how to confidently initiate supportive well-being conversations.
The training is underpinned by the REACT technique comprising of: Recognise; Engage; Actively listen; Check risk; and Talk about specific actions.
The training sessions, provided by psychological health consultancy, March on Stress, last up to 75 minutes and are run remotely.
