EE extends unlimited data offer for NHS Heroes

EE is continuing to offer unlimited data to NHS workers until 31st January 2021, as local lockdowns increase and coronavirus pressures remain.

Since launching on 9th April 2020, the offer has been taken up by over 270,000 NHS staff benefitting from unlimited data on the UK’s biggest network. The extended scheme can be worth up to £250 to each member of NHS staff who signed up in April. It was due to end on 9 October 2020.

The move is part of ongoing EE and BT commitments to support the NHS, which has seen the organisations donate technology to hospitals, doctors and nurses and connected the NHS Nightingale Hospital in London.

Marc Allera, CEO of BT’s Consumer Division, said: “We want to show our continued support to NHS staff as pressures of Covid-19 remain. Extending our unlimited data offer will help NHS workers as they can easily keep in touch with friends and family, without worrying about their data. Along with the 20 per cent discount we already provide, this is a thank you for NHS staff who work so hard to look after us all.”
