The winners of the 2009 Health Business Awards, held at Arsenal's Emirates Stadium on December 10th, and presented by BBC News' Nicholas Owen, have been announced.
With the national media all too quick to focus on the perceived failings in the NHS, the HB Awards concentrates on the many examples of innovation, dedication and teamwork that are evident since the NHS transformation began in 1997. The Awards recognise and celebrate the significant contributions made each year by NHS Trusts and the individuals they employ. The following organisations have been recognised for their achievements in various areas of NHS operation.
